Support of the Holy Spirit
“Then I will ask the Father, and he will give
you another Advocate to be with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world
cannot accept, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him,
because he resides with you and will be in you.” – John 14:16-17
The Holy Spirit encourages and uplifts us, convicts us of
sin, intercedes on our behalf in prayer, and works to reveal continually who
God is through the Word, through our life experience, and through others. We
are filled with peace and empowered because the Holy Spirit has made His home
with us. We know Him because we have received the truth about Christ. Take courage—God
is with you, always.
Amen. I think the Holy Spirit is far underrated and in return we suffer greatly. That "I cant hear God" complaint is because of our suppression of Him.
ReplyDeleteYou're absolutely right. Speaking of this matter, it's disheartening to see so many lose faith because they feel that God isn't directing life in their favor. The Lord hears our cries so we must be patient and trust that he has great plans for us!
